REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Free Returns for Boots Clothes Safety Online
All items purchased from Boots Clothes Safety Online can easily be returned via the post or to your local Boots Clothes Safety store within 30 days from delivery..

Returns via store
You can return items that you have purchased online to your local store for an exchange or refund, but you must present proof of purchase, ideally your tax invoice. Our store team member will assess the items and determine whether a refund or exchange will be offered in accordance with our Refund Policy. Refunds will be issued in the same form of tender, e.g. if you paid for your online order through PayPal, you are required to present the card associated with your PayPal account in store.
Returns via the post
To Return Your Purchase, Please Follow The Steps Below:
- Contact us by Email or Phone first and request a Return Merchandise Authorisation Number (RMA). This is so we can manage your returned item. Email sales@bootsclothessafety.com.auor call 07 3807 5503
- Complete the returns form found in your post bag. Please remember to include the RMA number and reason for return.
- Take the Australia Post Returns Label out of the bag that was sent with your order. You will need this.
- Re-wrap the item to be returned so that it is in the same condition as you received it and place it back in the original postbag
We also reserve the right to charge you for any postage costs incurred for returns should a refund or exchange be declined or if you’ve changed your mind. If you've requested an exchange of a product that you’ve purchased online, we’ll do our best to fulfill your request, however, please note that this is subject to stock availability.
Boots Clothes Safety Returns Policy
All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only. We reserve the right to not offer a refund or an exchange coupon.
Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under the policy and our obligations to you.
When you change your mind
- At Boots Clothes Safety you have 30 days to return your items (some exclusion apply) for a full refund or exchange as long as it is returned in a saleable condition with original proof of purchase. The refund will be provided using your original payment method.
- By saleable condition we mean that the item hasn’t been opened or used, is still in its original packaging and all manuals, packaging, and accessories are included.
Excluded change of mind items
The following items cannot be returned if you change your mind: unless they are still in the original packaging and unused, this is for hygiene reasons.
- Underwear
- Socks
- Hats
- Gloves
Boots Clothes Safety may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s agent to determine the nature of the problem. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange voucher, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.
Physical gift card orders
Physical gift cards cannot be returned if you change your mind. They also will not be exchanged for another denomination or tender such as cash. Boots Clothes Safety will accept returns and provide you with an exchange gift card where the item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality. Please note that Boots clothes safety is not responsible for and is unable to replace gift cards that are lost or stolen.
Proof of Purchase
Returns, refunds, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by anyone of the following proof of purchase documents:
- Register receipt
- Online Tax Invoice (order confirmations will not be accepted)
- Financial statements such as a bank statement, credit card statement
- Online proof of purchase when calling Customer Service also includes Zip, Afterpay and Paypal statements
Privacy
You will be asked for information that is relevant to your return or to satisfy the legislative requirements. If you do not provide this information, then we may be unable to process your return. When returning merchandise with proof of purchase, you will be asked for your signature as authorisation of the return transaction. If Boots Clothes Safety agrees to a return without adequate proof of purchase, you will be asked to provide identification containing your full name. Boots Clothes Safety will record your name and form of identification provided, which may be accessed by authorised Boots Clothes Safety team members for fraud protection activities. Information collected will be securely stored in accordance with Boots Clothes Safety Privacy Policy
